Revelling in the Revelation of God’s Plan
Prophecy Series pt 1
And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.”
Genesis 3:15 (NKJV)
Genesis 3:15 is the “Beginnings” of all prophecy and sets the context for all prophetic interpretation.
Through the one verse promise or prophecy God establishes a platform from which to reveal His plan to His earth people.
In and through Genesis 3:15 four very significant themes are presented.
1. The introduction of the concept of the “Coming One”, especially in the concepts of Deliverer, Redeemer and Saviour, but most important is the concept of the “Victorious One”
2. Implementing the “Plan of Salvation” set in motion before the “foundation of the world”
3. Introducing the concept that “Innocent Blood” would be shed for the redemption of mankind
4. Demonstrating His will to remove the shame of humanity
