Tithe  which is sent to the storehouse of the conference to be distributed, goes mostly to paying our pastors and for evangelism. Remember, you can go online to e-Giving (use this link) or go through the e-Giving app (Apple and Android).

Bible Worker 2016/2017  Great to have Richard de Klerk as part of the Ministry team at Alstonville. Please uphold him in your prayers. If you would be interested in Bible studies or know of someone who would like bible studies please make contact with Richard.

Friday Night Worship Program: Fortnightly on Friday nights at 7.00pm the church will be open for a special time together to enjoy the blessings of worship through music. You are most welcome to attend by just singing along or participating by sharing your musical talent. Everyone is welcome even your family and friends and please bring your children as this is a special time of fellowship for families. Next program 14th June.

Wednesday mornings from 9.30am-12.00pm: Pastor Peter will be in attendance at the Church every Wednesday morning.

Sabbath Afternoon Program: Postponed until further notice.“Revelling in the Revelation of God’s Plan.”  A bible study workshop to help with understanding the mystery of the prophetic code. By learning the process God used to set the platform for us to know the future and the how He enlarged our minds to be ready for the greatest event of all. Bring Bible, notepaper and pens/pencils. Open to everyone who has an interest in knowing the will of God.

 

Coming Up:

Sept 15-17: Prayer Conference.  This year’s If My People Pray conference will be held at Stuarts Point Convention Centre.  The weekend will be about personal revival and reformation in preparation for the latter rain and the Second Coming of Jesus.  Topics to be covered are: the latter rain, prayer and the blueprint.  Guest speakers are Ivor and Atonte Myers, and Pr Tom Evans.  For more information and to register click here.

Creative Hands A craft group run for the community meets on Wednesdays from 9:30am until noon in the church hall.

Ballina Op Shop The ADRA Op Shop in Kerr St, Ballina is staffed by volunteers and is operated to provide support to the Womens Refuge in Ballina. There a a lively team of volunteers, but over the last year or so the numbers of our volunteers have diminished a little. To this end WE NEED YOU! If you have a few hours to spend, on a permanent or casual basis, would like to lend a hand, make some new friends, and support a really good cause the Op Shop could put you to good use! Even if you are a student wondering what to do in your school holidays, your help would be appreciated. If you feel you could help out please ring Gayle Collyer at the shop 6681 1179

Flower Team Request  The ladies who prepare the beautiful flowers each week are seeking help with the sourcing of flowers and greenery. If you have either in your garden please refer to the roster on the back of the bulletin and contact the team member who is doing the flowers for the next week, to offer your assistance.

Midweek Meetings  If you are unsure of who to ask – ask an elder Ros, Helen, Laura, Jeannete, Gary, or Rob. It’s worth the effort, you are always welcome. It’s never too late!
