We choose who is our king by choosing to whom we are obiedient. A selfless life centered wholely on Jesus, serving others and practising obedience even when it’s hard, is a life where Jesus is King.
Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices,
As in obeying the voice of the Lord?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
