The Harvest is Plenty
Mission is not something we do on our own. We mingle and sympathise, minister to people and win their confidence, but we may never know the witness we may have been. Every person has to make their own decision to move closer to a relationship with God.
God loves everyone in the world and is doing everything possible to draw people to Him. The Holy Spirit and the angels are also working with us. We work with other Christians, each with our own strengths and weaknesses. Don’t despair if progress seems slow. God is encouraging us to not give us. As we pray, God will lead us and give us strength.
But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Matthew 9:36-38
