Kings and Chronicles

Pastor Christopher gives us a fascinating overview of the 400 year of history covering the four books of Kings and Chronicles which we will be diving deeper into this year.
The books of Kings records bad king after bad king and they graphically show us how much we need a good King. A King like Jesus who rules in righteousness. The books of Chronicles encourages us that if we are a part of God’s kingdom we too have roots, royalty, and religion. If we are in Christ, we are in Abraham’s family.
These books both vividly reveal the love and mercy of God and we will be blessed this year as we study and learn from the stories in them.
Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth the Lord God of heaven has given me. And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem which is in Judah. Who is among you of all His people? May the Lord his God be with him, and let him go up! 2 Chronicles 36:23
